E-Stats Data is a portal that provides information on approved projects by MIDA in the manufacturing and selected services sectors in Malaysia. The portal will provide investors, business communities as well as service providers with the latest information on new projects coming up in the country, for the purpose of business development opportunities and enhancement of supply chain and new market penetration. The information will be updated on a quarterly basis.
i-Incentives is a portal that provides the information on investment incentives offered by the Federal Government of Malaysia. Incentives Coordination and Collaboration Office (ICCO) established under the Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA) has been tasked as a central coordinator for all investments incentives to meet the national investment agenda. ICCO will be a one-stop centre to advice and coordinate businesses on incentive offerings and provide cross-agency visibility. The incentives coverage will be a dynamic one, whereby the list of incentives offered by all Ministries and agencies will be updated from time to time.
IT companies that would like to use the service of expatriates or Foreign Knowledge Worker (FKW) may apply for employment pass, social visit pass and dependent pass through FKW program by MDEC. Companies may subscribe for MD status (optional) or non-MD to apply for FKW.
Certificate of Good Conduct (CGC) is strictly for abroad use only. Citizen, resident and foreigner who have previously resided in Malaysia (at least 6 months) may apply the CGC. It is a document used to verify that the individual has no misdemeanour or criminal record during the period of stay in Malaysia. The validity of the certificate is one (1) year from the approval date. However, certain country/company would require a certificate with approval date lesser than one (1) year.
